  • Ergonomics is the study of people in their working environment, which includes both the physical environment and workplace environment. Ergonomics involves changing the environment to fit the requirements of the individual employee if the worker is forced to adapt to an environment that may not be suitable for the physical requirements and limitations.
  • Poor ergonomic can play a significant role in the development of several musculoskeletal disorders and other problems like:
  • Neck pain, Back pain, Shoulder pain, Arm pain, Headaches, Repetitive injury strains, Carpal tunnel, Diabetes, Heart conditions, Obesity, Stroke, Postural muscle aches and pains.
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy involves the treatment of disorders that affect how you move – how your muscles and joints work together. Available Therapies

Advanced Therapy

Chiropractic Therapy is a hands-on technique that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of Neuromuscular disorders through manual adjustment and manipulation of the spine. This therapy focuses on the structures of the body, especially the spine. Chiropractors usually manipulate the body’s alignment to relieve pain, improve function and help the body heal itself.

The main focus of chiropractic therapy is spinal manipulation, it also includes other treatments like manipulative therapies, postural exercises, ergonomic training, and patient education. Chiropractors can treat pain anywhere in the body such as the head and jaws, shoulders, elbows and wrists, hips, pelvis, knees, and ankles.

This method is primarily used as a pain relief alternative for muscles, cartilages, ligaments, tendons, joints, and bones. Chiropractic therapy is also sometimes used in conjunction with conventional medical treatment.

A chiropractor treats various spinal disorders that cause musculoskeletal or nerve pain. The problems evaluated and treated by chiropractic care are:

  • Back sprains and strains.
  • Cervicogenic headaches.
  • Sciatica.
  • Herniated disc.
  • Degenerative disc.
  • Spondylosis.
  • Myofascial pain.
  • Coccydynia.
  • Spinal osteoarthritis.
  • Subluxation
  • Fibromyalgia.
  • Myofascial pain.
  • Plantar fasciitis.
  • Sports Injuries

Cupping Therapy is a practice that involves application of rounded inverted cups to certain parts of the body using vacuum effect. This cups basically upon placing over the skin creates suction and this suction facilitates healing with blood flow.

Cupping is often recommended as a complementary therapy for the following conditions:

  • Back Pain
  • Headache or Migraine
  • Neck and Shoulder pain
  • Lumbar Disc Herniation
  • Cervical Spondylosis
  • Knee Pain
  • Muscle Pain and Soreness
  • Sports Injuries and Performance
  • Bronchial Congestion due to the Cold or Asthma
  • Shingles
  • Facial Paralysis

Dry Needling Therapy is also known as Trigger Point Dry Needling or Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling. It is a process in which thin needles are inserted into the trigger points or tight muscles of the body. It is usually done to treat myofascial pain (Myo means Muscle and Fascia means Tissue that connects muscles). The main purpose is to improve Tissue Healing and Restore Muscle Function. Muscles in our Body sometimes develop knotted areas called Trigger points which are quite sensitive and can be painful when touched. A physiotherapist pushes thin solid needles through the skin into trigger points. These Needles are used to stimulate the tissue and not to inject the medication.

The patient may experience different sensations, muscle soreness, aching, a muscle twitch, etc. when being needled which is considered to be a good sign. The needles may be placed deeply or superficially, for shorter or longer periods depending upon the type of pain being treated.

Dry Needling is usually used as a part of an overall plan. It is used to increase the range of motion that may be restricted due to muscle tightness or scar tissue. It may also help to treat:

  • Low back pain
  • Neck pain
  • Elbow pain
  • Sciatica
  • Disc Problems
  • Spinal Dysfunction
  • Migraines
  • Joint Dysfunction
  • Tendinitis
  • Pelvic Pains
  • Night Cramps
  • Post-Herpetic Neuralgia
  • Jaw and Mouth Problems (such as Temporomandibular Joint Disorders or TMJ)
  • Repetitive Motion Disorders (Like carpal tunnel syndrome)

Electro Therapy

The most common conditions that can be treated using Ultrasound therapy are:

TENDONITIS / TENDINITIS:

It is a general term that is used to define the inflammation of the tendon tissue that connects the muscle to the bone. This is the most common cause of soft-tissue pain. It can occur at any age but it is more common in adults who do a lot of sport. Old age people are also prone to it as the tendons tend to lose their elasticity and become weaker with age.

Its common types are:

  • Tennis Elbow
  • Golfer’s Elbow
  • Tendinitis (Achilles, Wrist, supraspinatus, bicipital)
  • Trigger Finger or Thumb
  • Jumper’s Knee
  • Swimmer’s Shoulder
  • Ganglion

Other conditions that can be treated with Therapeutic Ultrasound are:

  • Joint Swelling
  • Muscle spasm
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Pain
  • Muscle or ligament injury(ACL, PCL, MCL, LCL, etc. )
  • Sprains and Strains ( ankle, knee, lower back, etc.)
  • Knee Bursitis
  • Fractures
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Myofascial pain
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Herpes zoster
  • Low back pain
  • Phantom Limb Pain
  • Varicose ulcers
  • Pressure sores
  • Frozen shoulder
  • Temporomandibular joint disorder
  • Prolapsed intervertebral disc
  • Dupuytren’s contracture
  • Meniscal injury

IFT works in a special way as it uses interferential rather than normal stimulation. The main clinical applications for which IFT appears to be used are:

  • Pain Relief in conditions such as causalgia, herpes zoster, and neuralgia.
  • Osteoarthritis of the knee.
  • Muscle injuries
  • Ankylosing spondylitis
  • Frozen shoulder.
  • Cervical spondylosis.
  • Disc herniation.
  • Spinal canal stenosis.
  • Rheumatoid arthritis
  • Reduction of Edema (Condition involving the excess collection of watery fluid in the cavities or tissues)
  • Muscle Stimulation – prevent muscle wastage, re-education, maintain range of motion Stress incontinence
  • Ligamentous injuries

A TENS unit has controls that allow people to administer an appropriate level of pain relief. It can be achieved by altering the intensity, frequency, and duration of the impulse. It may help in treating the following symptoms:

  • Chronic pain syndromes
  • Period Pain
  • Ligamentous pain
  • Tendinitis pain
  • Neck and Back Pain
  • Labor Pain
  • Joint Pain
  • Muscular pain
  • Postoperative Pain

IT may also alleviate the pain that results from the following:

  • Sports Injury
  • Spinal Cord Injury
  • Multiple Sclerosis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Myofascial trigger points
  • Endometriosis
  • Arthritis
  • Painful Diabetic Neuropathy
  • Amputation

Heating of tissues can be achieved using Hot Packs, Wax Baths, Towels, Sunlight, Saunas, Heat wraps, Steam Baths/Rooms. We can also get the heat in deeper tissues through Electrotherapy (Ultrasound). The temperature should be comfortable and should not cause a burn. Exercise in warm water is an effective treatment for pain relief for patients with Neurological and Musculoskeletal problems. The warmth enhances the blood flow and muscle relaxation and also relieves the pain by reducing peripheral edema.

Conditions can be treated are:

  • Strains and Sprains.
  • Osteoarthritis.
  • Tendonitis.
  • Warming up stiff Muscles or Tissue before activity.
  • Preheating before electrical stimulation.
  • Relieving pain or spasms relating to neck or back injury, including lower back, sub-acute or chronic traumatic and inflammatory conditions.

Spinal decompression is a type of therapy applied to the spine in a attempt to bring about several benefits including:

  1. Creation of less pressure within the spinal discs thus relieving pain and promoting nutrition to the discs.
  2. Reduction of Protrusion or bulge in the disc by drawing out the gel nucleus towards the centre of the disc.
  3. Enlargement of the Tunnels where the nerves exit the spine thus allowing the nerves to breathe and regain proper circulation and become “un-pinched”.
  4. Stretching or Decompressing of Painful or Arthritic spinal Joints from the effects of constant gravity and poor posture acting on the body.
  5. Lengthening or Stretching of the Muscles, Tendons and Ligaments.
  6. Creation of a negative intradiscal pressure to promote repositioning of the herniated or bulging disc.

Condition can be treated:

  • Traction or Spinal Decompression helps a large percentage of people with spinal conditions but generally the following conditions are potentially improved:
  • Neck and Lower back Pain, either recent or long lasting that is of a mechanical cause.
  • Sciatica (Thigh and Leg pain)
  • Disc Bulging or Protrusion
  • Nerve Compression (Pinched Nerve)
  • Arthritis of the spine
  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Stenosis of the Spine (narrowed nerve tunnels)

FAQ's...

Rather than checking for physio’s qualification, make sure that he/she has relevant experience in treating similar issues (Your Therapist, not owner of center). Experience is the most imp factor in treatment.

Although physiotherapists are primary care providers, some extended health insurance plans require a doctor’s referral in order to reimburse you for your physiotherapy sessions. Check with your extended health provider.

If your extended health provider does not require a physician referral, it is not necessary to see your doctor prior to having a physiotherapy assessment.

Currently We have our center in Tulsidham Area near Zadeshwar road (Pramukhswami Road), Bharuch. but we provide home physiotherapy service in almost all Bharuch area. To check availability of our physical therapy experts, please contact us over call / WhatsApp.

In most cases, it is not necessary to have the results of your diagnostic test prior to seeing a physical therapist. In most other cases, the results of the diagnostic tests will not change the initial physical therapy treatment plan. One exception is if you are concerned that you have a bone fracture or a muscle/tendon rupture. Specifically, if you are awaiting MRI results for a shoulder injury (labrum, rotator cuff tear etc), knee injury (ligament and/or meniscus), or back injury, the results of the test are not necessary. The test results are important for making surgical decisions, but the physical therapy treatment is based on improving your primary complaints (loss of function, pain etc).

There are never any guarantees in the health care world. Patience is the most requisite key to get better with physiotherapy as work will be done on the root rather than the symptoms. If root is cleared, symptoms will automatically get clear. However, if the health care practitioner and the patient are committed to working towards common goals, most outcomes are successful.

Some of our clients eliminate their pain and restore their function in 2 to 3 days. Some problems take 6 to 8 weeks.  Unfortunately, some can take a few months, and in rare cases, longer. Every person is unique and every problem is unique. Treatment should only be continued if it is helping.  If our treatment plan isn’t helping, it should be changed.  The treatment response is highly variable and depends on:
